It's a great scarf and would be o.k. for men.

Your scarf is very unisex with color and design. Yes, I would wear your fantastic scarf.

A basketwave pattern is VERY MASCULINE!
The recipient will be very glad and cherish it!!!

I made this scarf pattern for may dad and he loved it. It is nice and squishy and warm. Totally a male pattern in my opinion!!!

I think it is beautiful and any of “the guys” in my family would wear it!

I think it might depend on the guy.

Beautiful scarf. Yes the colour and even the stitch pattern could be seen as masculine enough, but the scalloped edge while very pretty maybe a tad fussy for a man. That said, it depends on the man I guess. I know men who would love it; others like my own hubby would find it a little too ornate.

I agree,!

Which explains why I couldn't find it as Giant basket weave scarf -have added it to my Ravelry library.
Seeing the finished scarf makes it look even more suitable for a man. The scalloping isn't as obvious over the full length.

The pattern, to me, is quite masculine. My friend is knitting one for her son in a pattern very similar to yours .

Great scarf...my DH only likes dark colours and plain, but a lot of men like more details

I think it's actually better for a man than for a woman.

I'm almost finished making an afghan for my boyfriend using that same stitch and color. I added a seed stitch border so the edge doesn't have the scalloped look that is caused as part of the pattern. He approved the pattern when I first started it and will unveil the finished product to him on his birthday in a couple weeks.
