I have been following everyone's opinions and yes I admit the majority seems to want President Trump out of office. OK fine, my question is out of everyone running on the Socialist Democratic ticket who do you want as the new President? Let's not get nasty just state who you want and why.

I will start I still want President Trump, I feel that given half a chance he could be a decent president. He has created jobs, picked up the economy, and supports America. Does he say dumb things, yes I have to admit he does but in the end in my opinion he really is trying to do a good job.

Now this is my opinion, and now I want to hear who you would vote for and why. I created this topic not as a bashing President Trump or Obama or Hillary or anyone else topic but just a nice friendly discussion let's see if we can have nice mature discussion

I choose anyone but the Idiot trump because contrary to your belief the economy is in trouble, manufacturing is on the decline which will mean not as many jobs and our country is becoming if it isn’t all ready a laughing stock.

I have to go with your choice. There are laws and the orange wonder seems to think they don’t apply to him. He is a con man right out in the open. I do have a specific Democrat I like, but it is too soon to narrow my choice.

I'm sorry, I lived under communism in socialist country and there is no way I would want to live like this again.
People have no idea! They think free is nice but it comes with price.
I'll take capitalism any day!
I'll take Trump over and over.

I too have a favorite Democrat but I try not to throw my support in too early. When I do my favorites usually don’t get very far. The good news is they all offer to bring back sanity and morality to the U.S.

Well, I hope you don’t want to or aren’t taking advantage of SSI or Medicare since they are definitely socialist programs.

Since you referred to the "Socialist Democratic ticket," it's obvious that you do not want mature or meaningful discussion.

Please understand terms properly before you use them in tandem!
Communism and democratic socialism are not the same.

Communism is a type of government as well as an economic system (a way of creating and sharing wealth). In a Communist system, individual people do not own land, factories, or machinery. Instead, the government or the whole community owns these things. Everyone is supposed to share the wealth that they create.

The term socialism refers to any system in which the production and distribution of goods and services is a shared responsibility of a group of people. Socialism is based upon economic and political theories that advocate for collectivism. In a state of socialism, there is no privately owned property.

Social democracy is an ideology that has similar values to socialism, but within a capitalist framework. The ideology, named from democracy where people have a say in government actions, supports a competitive economy with money while also helping people whose jobs don't pay a lot.

Where did you live? We would have a better understanding of your views if you would reveal the place.
I like Elizabeth Warren. Her economic ideas correspond with mine. I do not consider her a communist.

"Socialists Democrats" hmmm. Not a conversation starter and turned me off to posting my opinion.

When people make statements like "they all offer to bring back sanity and morality to the U.S." I wish they would give particulars.

If sanity and morality is more abortions, free everything to everybody who has ran up their debt, ] getting rid of our power sources, the government telling us what we can eat and can't eat, confiscating our rightfully possessed guns - then I guess I don't understand the definition of sanity and morality.

OK - I'll answer the question. I support President Trump and will vote for him again and again and again.

NO - they are NOT. We all contributed to Social Security and Medicare our whole working lives. These programs are based on the PEOPLE'S monies. Government is who has abused these two programs.

Interesting you're not getting any replies other than the "attack Trump" commentary. I haven't read a post yet as to someone stating who they would like voted in and WHY.

Okay, once more: Trump inherited a good economy from Pres.Obama. The jobs he takes credit for are low paying and he okayed a tax cut for the wealthy that is permanent, while for the rest of us it is temporary. He ignores the climate, doesn't trust or believe scientists... I could go on and on. So who will I vote for? Anyone but Trump. He has cognitive issues as demonstrated by his speaking problems. And his insecurity with those who don't agree with him is childish. Please, collectordolls, do some research and read before you make a final decision on your choice of candidate. Anyone who doesn't recognize the horror of nuking a storm is a danger to the world.
