You would think with such a tragic remembrance as 9/11 she would be extremely careful in her choices of what to wear.
This is not Photoshop, fake etc.
This is the coat!
Tell me what you see.
Symbolism and first impressions mean everything!

The pleat at the back. I'll say no more as I'm not American.

Giving the American people a big middle finger?

It’s ugly but not offensive to me. Looks like the seamstress left chalk marks behind...

The fuss is the white stitching on the pleat looks like on of the towers, the button packet looks like the nose of the plane coming out of the building.

Anyway, a very ugly coat and quite ill fitting.

I am definitely not a fan of the president or his wife, but IMHO you might be making too much of it.
It is probably one of the trending styles among the ‘beautiful people’.
I’m of the opinion that she wants to always be very stylish, wearing the latest fashion. I feel that is what she thinks about when she decides what to wear.
Personally, I don’t care for that style coat at all.

That's exactly what I saw as soon as I looked at the photo. And as I said in my first post I am not American so I should keep my nose out of their business. But can't believe others can't see it.

What is up with that coat? Yes, it does look like a plane going through one of the towers, but then I thought that no one would be THAT stupid to wear something like that on Sept. 11th. Now, it just looks like a big arrow pointing to her butt. Either way, it's ugly.

Why make a photo op of 9/11 in the first place? Rhetorical question!

She was stupid enough to wear the "I don't care do you?" jacket
She was stupid enough to wear that arts and crafts flower monstrosity.

I think it's being too picky. It's a coat.

I have to agree, it's just a seam with topstitching, but people will see what they want!

Always amazes me that clothing would be the big deal, when the real deal is that they were observing a somber moment of historical signifigance. I know some do not think about patriotism but there has been a leader that did not even recognize Pearl Harbour and there was no fuss about that. When will this 1st Lady receive the civility that others have when they made a faux pas. When will she be afforded the civility of being human. No need to add to my comment, just an observance, just a wonder.
