Beautiful! I haven't done broomstick in a long time. Thanks for inspiring me.

Thanks for the reminder-- used to love broomstick, made ponchos for DDs and they loved them. Might have to do some neck scarves using this for Christmas. As i recall, it went pretty fast.

I remember doing this decades ago, and loved it. It was easy and fun. I have a shawl that was done for my mom, and it's my "go to" warmth giver. Tried it again a few months ago. Somehow, in the intervening decades, I have developed all kinds of left hands and no connections between them and my one right hand. I don't remember it being difficult. I had 3 small kids when I was doing it before. I had 3 dogs. I had a totally miserable husband who never helped at anything and expected the house to be spotless. And I was able to do it with no effort (that I remember). What has happened to me in the meantime? I love that shawl. I want to try it. It scares me. LOL.

That's beautiful. I could never get the hang of broomstick lace... I have several of the looms (?), just couldn't get it.

Looms? Looms, you say? I only remember one actual piece of a broom stick and a crochet hook, lots of yarn, and zipping along happily creating something. Am I totally delusional? Did I use a loom?

EDITED: I did a search for broomstick looms, and instead found instructions that look familiar to me, and I think I can:
