My Brother has Alzheimer's but I know he always remembers me knitting, well & our Mom.

He must have told one of his night time carers, he has two.

This is the 2nd parcel one carer has left. The 1st one when straight up to the Hospital as it just happened I was going anyway to see my Consultant. These will have to wait now, either for a special trip or till the beginning of December for my next appointment.

I provided a lot of the wool but another day time carer supplied the buttons. Albert tells me he is so lucky, not only where he lives , all his Carers and other residents .......but that I don't forget him.....as if I could, I love him!!!

Thanks for looking, sorry about the photo's but we are having a few lovely sunny days in the UK where I live & am not used to taking photo's in the sun !!

Thanks for looking , Sue.

This is wonderful. I sure the mothers will enjoy the sweater sets or jumper sets. My mother had Alzheimer and you and your family are in my prays.

Lovely work! You knit beautifully. So good to hear some good stories about patients and their carers. It sounds like a team effort with good results and that's how it should be.
Good luck to you & your brother & his carers.
Cheers

Jackie knitted these not me, I think it is so kind of her, to say our paths never cross, what a lovely, kind lady.

Way above and beyond! Prayers to you and your family. Alzheimer is such an insidious and heartbreaking disease, robbing folks of what they cherish most. And a heartfelt "thanks" to the carer(s) who did such great work.

Sorry no, it's only me now, but he can remember far back better. Mom taught me to knit before I went to school, out of necessity. She would have been 106 now. Passed away from Alzheimer's in 1995, but I still love & miss her very much.
