I have just finished my GD's cardigan. She will recieve it, when we visit her and her family next week. I have also knitted two pair of socks, one pair for her mum, our daughter, and one pair for my HB,
The cardigan is knitted in a yarn called Delano, it is a modified pattern from Classic Elite Yarns. The socks is knitted in Frost and the pattern is from Svarta Fåret.
The cardigan colors are soooo beautiful- they put me in the mind of sunrises oceans and sunsets -great choices!
Ditto the above on the wonderful colors in that yarn.... Absolutely beautiful. The yoke stitch pattern is a lovely detail that does not detract from the spectacular yarn and your buttons are perfect.... That cari is going to be perfect with so many things.... She will be thrilled.... The soxs are great as well. I can hardly put them own when knitting with that style yarn... always want to see the next color and the next and the next...... Great work... Enjoy your visit.
Beautiful sweater!!! I agree with previous comments. Beautiful! ;0)
Love the sweater pattern and the colors!
The sweater and socks are awesome. I love the colors of that sweater, and the name of the yarn being Delano brings me thoughts of my father. His middle name was Delano (first was Franklin!).
Beautiful! Lucky granddaughter.
