Does anyone have to sell or know where I can buy an extra mylar sheet or two??? I saw one for a half scale on ebay but none in full size.

Hi Kate, have you thought of purchasing a roll of clear mylar and cut to size. The rolls come in 40" wide and in different thickness. I haven't looked thoroughly to see what thickness is the usual mylar sheet for the KL. I think Amazon sells them but google around for more choice.

To punch holes on both sides, just use one of those revolver leather hole puncher. You can find one easily at the craft store.

I may purchase a roll myself in the future.

Good morning Kate. Metropolitan have sheets for built-in knitleaders listed for £12.50 each, plus carriage. They are a large and long-established firm so I assume they will post to US.
( Andeeknits is another UK firm which is often able to supply but I haven't checked their list. Good luck.

I actually thought I had hit the mylar jackpot with multiple sheets to spare. There was a KL for sale and the seller said she had 25+ sheets, they were all over her grandmas house! Who in the world would have 25+ sheets I wondered...Turns out they were all punch cards:(

Oh man, that is a big disappointment. I believe the KH-910 up to the KH-930 uses mylar sheets as punch cards. Perhaps, that was how the mistake came about.

Have you tried and call Wendy at Sew 'n Knit in Canada? They seem to carry lots of KM items. Here's their website:

Kate, have you found the KL mylar sheet yet? Here's another vendor in Canada that has "Mylar" listed but I'm not sure if it's for the KL or the KMs. There's a phone number at the bottom that you can contact her.
