To all that have lost a loved one on this sad day 11 years ago, they will always be remembered. I am sending you all a hug and a shoulder to cry on.

May there be peace on earth and may it begin with me...

I am so sorry for your loss.

Some of us were there, or were close by and also lost friends and acquaintances. I told someone earlier today that many times in your life, you can say proudly, "I was there" for some special event. This is one event that I am NOT proud to say I attended, even from 6 blocks away. It's just beyond anything you can imagine - or at least I hope you can't imagine it.

Blessings to all the families and friends left behind.
On another site I am on someone posted that they didn't understand why we kept have remembrance services on that day, they were from Canada and she said people have forgotten that day and it was strange that we kept remembering.
If it had been on their soil against their citizens they migh feel differently. I understand that there were people from other countries in the Towers, but it was against us and we will never forget
May all the families find peace in the fact that Americans will never forget

There were so many acts of selflessness on that day. Strangers helping each other and all the folks that helped. For an entirely different outlook read "The Woman Who Wasn't There" by Fisher and Guglielmo,Jr. True story.

Losing someone personally in that tragedy was horrific. I know many who had such losses. People in the NY region were touched in many ways. And the heroics of people wer stupendous.

Not to take anything away from the loss and pain caused by that event, I am not one to keep celebrating it. These celebrations are not about the useless loss of lives, but about causing a reliving of the fear and vulnerability that stunned us all. And that fear was created, yes created intentionally to push a political agenda by the neocons. We all read the plan in the document Project for a New American Century which Cheney was one of the signers. In that document a plan for taking over this country was laid out with one requirement needed: something of the magnitude of another Pearl Harbor. To effect this coup it would be necessary to scare the public into submission and that was the purpose of 9/11. Sinister, evil, nasty and completely sociopathic.

There. I have said it here and many of you may have never heard these feelings expressed, nor may some of you agree with me. Nonetheless, that is the reality of what happened in this country. While many people still grieve their losses, this country foisted the Patriot Act on us, then Patriot Act II which gave more police powers and reduced our civil liberties. This document and the continued attack on our Constitution has become the common political tendency. It has affected the politics of other countries as well. The Iraq war which was never declared by Congress and that has morphed into wars of aggression and resource stealing in many countries of the world was a goal of the Bush administration. 9/11 was used as the excuse despite that country having nothing to do with that public tragedy. Lies, lies and more lies is all we are fed via the mass media. Thank goodness for all the independent journalists, many of whom lost their lives trying to write truthful information on what was happening. Thank goodness for all the professionals who have devoted 100's of hours researching the controlled demolition of the twin towers + building 7. Remember the 3rd building that 'collapsed' that was never hit by a plane? Thank goodness for all the people who have never succumbed to the propaganda of the mainstream news media which was designed to scare and keep us ignorant.

9/11 for me needed to be a wake-up call to the reality of how far this country has moved away from the intent of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in this country. This tragedy is way more than the immediate loss of lives. It is a major tragedy for the loss of our freedoms and our ability to survive with decency. We should be angry for the lies given us and we should be angry enough to protest the wars which are creating wealth for the 1% and poverty for the rest of us. This is how 9/11 affected me and many others. I wish that everyone who felt pain that day would join in with the many of us who won't settle for the use of this event to destroy us from within.

hugs from Aberdeen Scotland for all those that was lost and those who lost them on that terrible day. I hate people that are trying to say that it was not planes that went into the towers but American missiles which we all know is rubbish. Sorry if ive offended anyone but i just dont understand why some people are like this

It was planes the probably hit the twin towers. Nothing hit Bldg 7. A missile probably hit the Pentagon. What is said is that planes did not and could not have taken down those buildings. ALL first responders reported explosions on the first floor. Explosive material only owned and created by the military was found in the debris.

I hate when people chose to wear blinders because the truth is not pleasant. So here is a brief post received today that puts forth just some of the unanswered questions about 9/11, and just one brief one of the many available for those who are willing to learn:

Some things on TV last night never seen before--pictures/tapes by "just people"--so meaningful--so many unsung heroes [plus the guy from Dean Witter, his wife, friends, employees--OMG what a special human being]--simply being human is reason enough to embrace anyone who lost someone or helped someone else even for a moment, and say thank you, I love you........

I posted that as a simple introductory to people who have never been exposed to the questions about what really happened and how and why.

There is a whole body of information that has been getting collected by a group of Architects and Engineers, for example. The general position of these professionals as well as families who lost people and others who doubt the official report is to raise questions that have never been answered. Right after the towers came down an engineer from Arizona or New Mexico was interviewed in the press and said straight out those buildings came down by controlled demolition. He was immediately isolated and forced to retract his statement. However, his statements and those analyses of other building professionals are all the same. Thermite was found in the debris after the collapse and it is now being found again on what little remains of the beams are still available for study. Thermite is a gov't owned/controlled explosive, sort of like a stronger plastique. It had to be set with intention.

People tend to feel it is the gov't responsibility to do a thorough and honest inquiry but that is a contradiction in itself as the govt is the problem. We have statements from people like the Italian Prime Minister at the time who came out stating that Italy was in cooperation with the US to create 9/11. He was shortly removed from office. At least 4 of the so-called Mid-eastern men who hijacked the planes were spotted in countries alive and well. Phone calls from the planes to loved ones were a lie. Cell phone technology at the time was not capable of that service at the height that the planes were flying. Why the lie? Emotional hyperbole to suck in the public? Why was there no plane debris from the alleged plane that hit the pentagon? And where was the debris from the plane that downed in Pa? Do you believe that a plane hitting the twin towers at the height that went up in flames managed to send a passport of a hijacker down to earth for identification? Why that lie?
There are so many holes in the official story. There are so many lies uncovered. The list keeps growing.

Yes, it is reminiscentof the Kennedy assassination. People killed off. Information disappeared but pieces slipped out to put the lie to the public propaganda. Do you remember how many people were disappeared and killed after Kennedy? Dozens. Anyone even vaguely connected died. It was like a series of concentric circles of connections that kept getting killed to break any checkable information on the conspiracy.

I know conspiracy is a dirty word. However, a conspiracy by definition is a plan by people with power to commit acts against a larger group without their knowledge and permission and against their interest. Kennedy's assassination fits that bill. There are many in American history and more each day. I listened to an interview with a man whose brother was murdered by the FBI. He was picked up after the Oklahoma City bombing. The man is a lawyer so knows his way around the legal system. His brother matched the description of another man. He was tortured and killed by the FBI. This lawyer has spent 17 yrs trying to get the information on what happened to his brother. In the process he has had to Foia govt papers; the FBI lied in court where they got exposed and other people involved provided information from behind the scenes to inform him. This was an unknown single man caught up in a govt conspiracy which may be pointing out that the bombing was a govt run false flag operation. It clearly was known to the govt before it occurred. And it clearly involved more than the two people they captured. I share this only to show that this type of sociopathic behavior is par for the course. Getting real information can become a life long effort but when people do this, facts start to surface and a big picture starts to form. When you see this repeating over many situations it becomes obvious that we have gov't that behaves this way as a matter of course and new incidents are scrutinized thru this historic filter. 9/11 just happens to be one such incident that has touch the public in a big way.
