This is the woman for whom I made a shawl this past winter. My high school friends's Mom and my piano teacher. Great afternoon to reconnect with friends from the "Old Days"! She and her hubby were both Navy Vets.

It's a beautiful shawl for a beautiful woman! Don't you just love doing things for nice people! I'm smiling just thinking about it!

The middle are all her children, hubby died a few years ago of heart problems. The tallest son is a spitting image of his Dad.

She still teaches piano and helps out with the Lee Conklin Organ Museum that is in the old Jr. High School in town. She helped start it and the men keep it running and the organs restored.
