I was wondering if anyone has attached knit afghan panels with crochet slip stitch, vs. sewing? If so, did it turn out ok? Thanks, Ingrid

Thank you so much Donna Rae, I'll play around with it.e.ridenh said:(((((( I have. I thought they came out fine. I used a 'not to tight or not too lose' slip stitch with a hook size suggest off the yarn label.
No threading that needle a lot, right? Great idea!!
What you might do is try it and if you don't like the look, we know how easy crochets stitches frog! Love it!!

Thank you so much, I appreciate your advice. :thumbup:courier770 said:Personally I wouldn't do it. Even if you get the tension exactly right, you still end up with a very "raised" seam, almost a welt. The more time consuming "weaved" seam will look much more professional.
I recently completed a crocheted afghan that had 13 strips I had to put together. The pattern called for the crochet slip stitch, so that's what I used and it turned out well. Just be sure not to make the slip stitch too tightly...it looks great!ibe1946 said:I was wondering if anyone has attached knit afghan panels with crochet slip stitch, vs. sewing?
