Sorry to every one for this taking so long , DH had an accident so have been been busy playing nurse. For the tendrils I watched youtube for Cat Bordhi's Knit as you go Tendrils. I made the tendrils every 3 rows and just scattered them on a plain beanie pattern for an AG doll. The scarf is cast on 16 sts, knit 2 rows..Pattern row is K4, (yo, k2tog., k2) repeat between ( ) to end. Repeat pattern row until desired length, knit 1 row and bind off loosley and join two ends to form infinity scarf. You could start with a provisional cast on and use the kitchener st. to join if you do not want to have to sew a seam.. Again sorry for the delay in answering....
