They are gorgeous. My sister has 3 Alpacas and absolutely adores them. She also sits for people with Alpacas so they can leave their property with someone experienced to care for them.

I have just knit a shrug in alpaca wool. Very warm and comfortable but after every wash a strong smell of wet dog is present even when dry. Can any one advise how to prevent this?
