Stop Blisters with Antiperspirants – Rub a stick antiperspirant on the sides and bottom of clean, dry feet to lubricate problem spots
Take the Itch out of Bug Bites – I have found Dry Idea Roll-on works great for this. Just roll the deodorant over the bite and the itch will reduce.
Freshen your closet – Do you have a deodorant that you love the smell of? Take the lid of and place it in your closet. In China, they are using deodorant to freshen up the smell of their landfills.
Calm Clamy Hands – Do you get clamy, sweaty hands when you get nervous? Well if you’re in that situation and know you’ll be shaking hands you may want to coat your hands with a clear anti-perspirant. It will keep your hands nice and dry and not expose your nerves.
Dry a pimple – Yet another way to save money on expensive skin care cream. If you have a pimple and want it to dry out fast, rub a new bar of deodorant on it. It will also work on fever blisters.
Stop Stinky Feet – Someone in your house have a problem with stinky feet? Have them use deodorant on their feet and it will stop the odor and the sweat. Their shoes and everyone in the household will appreciate it.

I keep several travel size stick deodorants in strange places. I'm allergic to ALL bug bites! So I keep the travel size stick deodorants in my purse, my car, my "truck bag" for work, near my patio doors, in my "pool bag"...I'm NEVER without one.

Hi Was just reading your tips re- deodorant very useful indeed. I have a tip for the empty roll on deodorant bottles. I suffer from arthritis and have to apply cream / ointment often. I wash out the empty bottle and fill with the ointment, i can then keep one in my bag and use when i am out and about to use discreetly by just rolling it on to the part needed, and i dont have to worry about getting it on my hands.

What is the ingredient that treats bug bites? Is it the aluminum chloride? Is there a specific brand that works best? I am always having unfortunate altercations with bugs. Just yesterday was stung by yellow jackets while trimming a boxwood.

not sure about the deodorant, but some tips I have seen said to carry a bounce sheet in your pocket or waistband to keep the bees away.

Is the ball on the roll-on easy to remove?

Hi Sorry i forgot to say just prize the ball out carefully and it pops back in ok. I have also filled one with lavender moisturiser as well as other creams and lotions, it means you dont have to pack big bottles and tubes for away days etc. Happy Rolling.

A few years ago I started having a problem wearing deodorant. I smelled worse wearing it than not. Then I tried a breast cancer approved natural deodorant which worked fine for about 10 months then I developed the worst itchy rash under my arms. I read something about using Vodka as a deodorant. Works great for me. I fill a small spray bottle and spray it on. Since I do not perspire under the arms much I don't miss the antiperspirant at all. (Not all deodorants are antiperspirants by the way)

Bounce is the brand name for scented dryer sheets to keep your clothes static and cling free in the dryer.

Noticed that you are in Australia. Bounce dryer sheets are sold here in the US. Haven't a clue what the alternative would be in Australia. Would love to know what is used there for the softening and antistatic of clothes. Love the differences around the world.
