Does anyone have a pattern for the Alternating Squares slippers that they would like to share? They are so comfortable and I would love to learn how to make them. Thank you in advance. eileenb

They are hand knitted. If this pattern goes by another name I'm not sure what it is. I have a very old pattern for these but alot of the words are not readable. Thanks
I use to have this pattern, so I would be interested in it too. I know that it is somewhere in all of my loose patterns, which could be in one of three rooms. I learned it when I was a teenager (40 years ago) I carted it back and forth, home to home, Washington to Alaska and back and forth. I know I have seen it since I moved here, but my daughter wanted me to teach her to make it and I couldn't find it. so if someone has it, I would like it to. I remember it starts with the 2 rows of color A, which does not change, then six in the color b, then six in the color a, but I can't remember how many to cast on, or what to do for the lower part of the foot. I am probably missing some steps. There was something that made it crease I think. Grama use to make them for the whole family. So, I too would like the pattern.

Thank you so very much for the pattern on alternating squares slippers. That is just what I was looking for. As soon as I get one done I will send you a pic. Thanks again. Happy Spring!!! :p
I'm so glad this is what you were looking for. Now I have a question for you, When I start this pattern do I cast both colors on the needle at the same time? I usually crochet, so this is new to me.

I saw a lady working on this pattern at a WW meeting. Hopefully I can catch her again and get a little help.

Have a wonderful day, and happy knitting.
