I really like these socks!!! I have made them for a very good friend as a surprise for her birthday in July. She sent me this yarn about a year ago and had me make a pair of socks for her dad. Now she will get a pair for herself!!! I think she will love them!!!
I used this Liat Knitfreedom.com faux heel flap, two at a time toe up pattern:

this pattern is easy to follow and the socks fit great! I did the eye of partridge heel stitch.
I used this rounded toe pattern which I like better than the "wedge" toe:

This is the stitch pattern I used for the body of the socks. I am now getting confident enough in my knitting I am able to use a new stitch pattern to make each pair of socks different.
