Always in the look out for little bits that catch the eye.
Today I bought 2 mugs. One from the Royal Yacht Britannia, and one made by spode for the coronation of King Edward the VIII (the king who abdicated).
Pleased with them both... Nice display pieces.

I love antique stores until I find toys I played with! But still have a great time looking at all the things there and of course are drawn to glass dishes and tea cups. Sounds like you found two nice treasures to enjoy

Even then I enjoy it. I love saying my grandmother had one of those, my mom had one of these, [laugh] I had one of these in about 1971, then remember that was over 50 years ago.
