I discovered this delightful YouTube channel recently. Videos and recipes of Appalachian Food. I am a California kid, born and bred but my parents were from Texas and my Maternal Grandmother from Mississippi so my mother cooked many of these dishes. Brought back so many memories. Tomorrow I am cooking Pinto Bean Soup and Corn Bread.

I grew up eating ham hocks and beans with cornbread and I still cook it and eat it. Yummy
