I have a pattern that calls for an appliled I-cord around the neck edge. This is something I've never done before. I know I could probably find it on YouTube, but I do much betten with written instructins with illustrations. Does anyone know of a link where I could find one?

If I want written instructions, I do an internet search for whatever "tutorial", so this was a search for "applied i-cord tutorial".

I did this with a blanket I made that had multiple colors brought up one side. It took me several tries while I watched the video but once it clicked, it was easy. And it completely encased the strands that were brought up for color changes. I definitely recommend this edging. It looks very sharp. Here are the links that I used to grasp this concept.

Looks like you got a lot of good resources and advice - I just wanted to add that it's fun to do, goes fairly quickly, and adds a really nice touch to your finished project!

I used this on a mitered squares vest that I made. The edges and around the arm holes were very flimsy. the pattern did not call for any finishing and looked horrible. This was the best edging ever. The armholes do not sag anymore and the vest looks great.
