Just finished this one to send my older brother for his 50th birthday. I figured I needed to send something a little extra special since he's half a century old. I wrote in his card that when he wears it he should pretend it's a hug from me. At least he'll know he's loved.

WOW! WOW! That is soooo beautiful! I'd love to attempt that leaf pattern one day too. I just started knitting a couple of months ago & am totally addicted. I started with a striped hat, then moved on to a cable scarf to go with it. I've also just begun crocheting & I've made two prayer shawls for my church Now I'm in the process of knitting the next one with an arrow pattern. I also just started a baby blanket with the ABC's on it. As you can see, I really enjoy having several projects going at the same time. :-D
If you are willing to share the pattern, my emil address is [email protected] Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.
beautiful work, I'm sure he will enjoy it!

Dear Jeannine, I am new to KP, and this is my first time to write, although I have been tempted many times. I don't know how to PM, I am sorry if this gets too long. This site is SO Wonderful! I learn something each time (every day) I open it up. Today is 28 Oct 2011, I was looking for another scarf pattern mentioned in today's forum, (which I didn't find) when I found this apparently old entry of yours, Ari's Scarf. I just love the Oak/Leaf pattern and I want to make scarves and Afghans for my four children, and my 13 grandchildren and one great-grand daughter! Yes, very ambitious of me. Two winters ago I made about 40 scaves with the keyhole and told them all it was a Hug and Kiss from me!
One of my branches, with 6 children, lives in Colorado Springs, CO. I would so love to have your pattern and all directions. I don't care how long it takes me, I want to do this for them, and I know I will also do it first for my remaining Aunts and Uncle, and probably my cousins as well.
Your striped cat with white throat, looks just like one of my two cats, Big Boy! Thank you for sharing your beautiful talents and I hope it is not too late to ask you to send to me: [email protected] God Bless You! And Thank You! to all who contribute to Paradise Knitting. This is truly Paradise!
