I have been absent on here for a few days now because my brother was involved in a very serious accident Sunday afternoon. He was on his motorcycle and someone made an illegal U-turn and hit him, then left the scene without even thinking twice. My brother is still listed in critical condition tonight, but has made some minor improvements. He unfortunately was NOT wearing a helmet (grrrr) and has no injuries below the neck, ie ALL injuries are to his head and face. The hit and run driver was apprehended but released on his own recognizance. he is 82 yrs old. My brother is 56. Please remember him in your prayers.

This doesn't even need to be said... BUT, why in the world do men think it is unnecessary to wear a helmet? enough said... will pray for your brothers healing... head injuries are tough at best. God still is in the business of making miracles happen... Praying for you and your family....My Sunday School teacher said Sunday that peace comes after acceptance... we never know why God allows some things to happen, but somethings are secrets of the Lord and we don't understand all of them...

Prayers winging their way to your brother. It's so hard to tell some men that they are mortals and that they are not immortal but trying to be. I think the prayers would be better served being given to suffering loved ones. And to the medical staff who do their level best to save careless people. Love to you and all relatives. Ann

I am so sorry to hear of your brothers accident. I will certainly be lifting him up and asking for God's will to be done and will be lifting you up for strength to bear up under the stress of it all.

Did the 82 year old man even realize he had caused an accident? I am 65 and I do not drive because of medications I have to take that make me drowsy. I hated giving up the freedom, but, I know I don't want to be responsible for hurting someone else because of my hardheadedness.

I will pray for your brother's quick and complete recovery. I hope he will be more careful in the future and wear a helmet. So many give so little thought to the pain it causes others when they are careless of their own well being. May God wrap you in the arms of his peace and comfort.
