This is the first blanket I have knitted, so baby size is what I did. I am happy with how it turned out, though the stark contrast in colors did drown out the picture quite a bit. Here is the link to the pattern I used. The next one (yes, I already bought yarn to do another ) will be a lighter blue and lavender together.

I used Caron One Pound skeins. The blue is called Royalty #0530 and the yellow is called Jonquil #0586.
