The Deacon in our church announced last Sunday that his wife was pregnant with their first child. I decided to make something. I couldn’t find a pattern for what I had in mind, so as usual I decided to invent what was running around my brain. So what resulted is here. It turned out being a bit big for a newborn, but the baby will grow into it. Not one stitch was calculated or written down. I just have to find three buttons now then it’s complete. I will tell them that when baby outgrows it, that I will enlarge any part of it as I have left over yarn.
