I love this pattern because the front is plain knit and you can substitute all kinds of wonderful stuff for the plain knit. I did the first 2 plain as written and then tried my hand at making it more fancy with cables. Here is the link for the pattern if you'd like it.

Love the vest. Is there any pattern (the same or similar) to make this in larger sizes? My grands would love it. They are age 1-8 years old. I don't know how to enlarge the existing pattern.
