Someone here mentioned this pattern http://lollyscraftycrochet.blogspot.com/2012/02/crocodile-stitch-my-gorgeous-little.html and since I am expecting my 1st grandbaby (a little girl) I just had to make them. I had made her mom a pair of crocodile house slippers this past Christmas, so I was familiar with the crocodile stitch and it made these super easy and quick. Hope she likes them!

Im sure you could if you tried. Knitting is my favorite, but sometimes I run into something crocheted that I just have to do. This was one of those times.

Nope! my to-do list is so long I need to live to be about 400! (and the list grows faster than I can knit!) I'm also one of those people who only has one project on the go at a time, but at least this way I finish everything. Am very tempted by the crocheted animal hats, even though I can't crochet! (have to teach myself....thanks youtube!!) then I might have a go at these boots.....OMG, I can see a crochet to-do list forming.... :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'll have to wait until after Christmas to "teach myself" to crochet - as that is when I plan on retiring....I can crochet things out of my head - just can't follow a pattern.

I have two to do lists, one knit, one crochet and most of the yarn to go with them. I know I will never get everything on the lists done, so will try and prioritise them.

No, I am the same way. Right now my To Do list is longer than I am tall! Can't prioritize either! I'm beyond help! Just drowning in a sea of patterns and yarn and ideas!

Me too! I could knit 24/7 (of course my husband thinks I do already :lol: ) for the rest of my life and never get it all done. By the way, what are you holding next to your ears in your pic?
