Just got back from a cruise where I happened to meet with Lindakaren12, we had some real quality knitting time together during sea days and here is a picture of the two of us. We made a stop in Greenland which was quite cold and upon going into one of two supermarkets I found a treasure....YARN!!! Yipee!!! I was so happy with my purchase I couldn't stop smiling through the cold.
Lindakaren12 is one of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet and I was just delighted to meet her and so sorry that we do not live closer to each other but grateful for Knitting Paradise where we started our friendship.

Hi Kacey, yes we did!!! Imagine what are the chances of meeting up with another KPer ? We had sent PM's before we left so we knew we would run into each other on this cruise.

I've only been on one cruise, but it was a delightful experience. You had the added pleasure of great company. Greenland may have been cold, but certainly colorful..... and yarn is AlwAYs a good thing..

Hi Dreamweaver, Greenland was barely 40 degrees as I recall, very cold indeed and so was Iceland but tthe experience was unique as I never thought I'd be visiting these parts of the world. Cruises can be rewarding experiences and my DH and I plan to go on several more before our legs give out on us, we are doing all we can to keep in shape but ever since the kids got older we have expericned some aches and pains that can only be attributed to their getting older ...Not Us!!!
