Hi, my name is Lee, from Windsor, Ontario. I love to knit. I have two sons and they tell their friends, if she could knit shoes, we would have been wearing them. Now they are grown, I get to make baby layettes, right now for their friends, but in the future - who knows. Knitting has been one of the best outlets I have had. I am a single parent and knitting made it possible for me to give lovely gifts to family and friends at little cost to me. I was no excited to find others who have found the joy of knitting. On the fun side, I wish to let everyone know my Dad taught me. In the Air Force they had down time and a lot of the men knit. It has been one of his greatest gifts to me.

I am looking for a simple pattern I once had for a childs pullover raglan sleeve sweater. I lost the pattern and I would love to find it again.

Bain ... check out the ravelry.com site, and under patterns, type in 'childs pullover raglan sweater'. If this doesn't give you any results, try knitpatterns.central.
Let me know, if either of these work.

As to not getting into a site, when typing in name and password ... check and make sure you are using the correct entrys. You can always go to any site, and if it rejects your name or password, hit the box that says .. 'forgot your password ?'. The site will send you an email with the correct one.

Don't be intimitated about the computer .. it takes awhile to learn all of it's little tricks, but can be a wonderful source of information for you !

Again, I hope I've been able to help you .. if not, please let me know, and we'll just 'have to try again' ! (O)

OK Izzy I tried. There is a pattern. I put in my info and we will see if I got in OK and if they send the pattern.

How old are you. You are most helpful. If you are single, you and my son would get along well. He is always so helpful and insists I try til I get it.

Yes ! I'm so glad that you found it ! ....... As to how old I am... I'm an old lady of 68 years, have 8 grandbabies and one 'Great grandbaby' .... so I highly doubt if your son will be too interested in meeting me ! (O) I'm also happily married (to the same guy for 45 years now) ..... However, I'm not dead yet, so I still appreciate 'looking' at a handsome young man, now and then ! ... but don't tell anyone, that I said that !!!

Well, there you go. I do envy you. I have been a single parent for the last 35 years. The good ones are taken. I want to find him a nice lady that knits... ha ha. He is not looking, but I am looking for him. His younger brother found me a beautiful daughter in law. I envy you. I am 63 so there is still a little time. But, I surely look forward to grandbabies.

I am at work while I am writing you and just leaving for the day.

I do not have a computer at home. Thanks again for your help.
