NOLA'S KNITTED SLIPPER ( with my modifications)

This pattern is worked flat on circular needles to make the picking up of stitches easier.

CUFF
With yarn doubled, cast on 32 stitches.
Row 1 (RS): *K1, P1. Repeat from * to last st., K1.
Row 2 (WS): *P1, K1. Repeat from * to last st. P1.
I use a different rib stitch for this part. Here is the link:

http://newstitchaday.com/how-to-knit-the-broad-spiral-rib-stitch/

Cast On: Multiple of 6 sts + 2.
 Row 1 (Wrong Side): k2,*p4, k2; rep from * to end.
 Row 2: p2, *(k2tog but do not sl from needle, insert right hand needle between the sts just knitted tog, and knit the 1st st again; then sl both sts from needle tog) twice, p2; rep from * to end.
 Row 3: k2,*p4, k2; rep from * to end.
 Row 4: p2, *k1, k2tog and knit 1st st again as before; k1, p2; rep from * to end.

I repeated it 5 times although I will knit more rows next time because I think It needs to be a little bit longer

TONGUE (worked on center 12 stitches, leave remaining stitches on needles (10 in each))
Row 1: (RS) With right side facing you K 21 sts, turn.
Row 2: (WS) K 10, turn.
Row 3 (RS) K10 turn
Continue in this manner until you have 11 ridges (you will have completed 22 rows).
