My family has just started raising honey bees and I would love to collect some knitting patterns with a honey/bee/behive theme. We will have a honey stand set up and I thought it would be cool to offer some knit items as well as the honey itself. Would love a wascloth/pot holder pattern and maybe an amigarumi pattern. Thanks in advance for your input! :)

also you might want to look for knit tea cozy's. I bet they would look really cute, kind of hive shaped or colored and you could add bee's to it.

I see one on ebay -

heres a really cute baby hat, but, I will bet you could improvise something and come up with something clever just using colored yarns etc.

Wow! You are amazing with your finds! They are all perfect. I love the hat and will definitely make one for both kids. :) They would be cute to display on the tops of the bigger jars too. I am casting on for one of the washcloths now! Thank you so much! :-D :-D :-D

You are so welcome. If and when you get things done and in the stand, take a picture and share it with the forum! I would love to see them.
And you are right a little hat on honey jars would be great.

Oh good! I didn't crochet really but I taught myself - I made one that was an Acorn shape - one of my very first crochet projects and it came out really good and didn't take long. You should be able to make quite a few sets with the bear and bee hive pretty fast. I think the set would be a really cute idea - you could even make like small gift baskets with those in there with some honey and a wooden honey dipper or something! :p

ps - here is a cute little crochet
bee from Redheart

I thought I should probably post the little Bear Potholder too. LOL

and even though they aren't Bee or Honey related - I thought the other two patterns were cute too. A mushroom and a little house. So I am posting them for anyone who might like them. They could be potholders, hot pads or dishcloths I suppose?
