I normally knit with worsted weight, so this was quite different for me. At first I felt I was knitting with cobwebs, the sock yarn is so much finer than I am used to. Also, I had to learn how to work short rows to do this. Thanks KP'ers for all the inspiration. I would not have challenged myself without this site. I may enter this in next Spring's county fair. It is Florida and not a lot of people knit here, so. I would stand a chance of ribboning.

The pattern for the Bermuda Scarf is on Ravelry. Search for Bermuda Scarf. Even a Google search will take you to it. It's a paid pattern!- the first I have ever purchased. Usually I can find enough free patterns to keep me busy, but I thought this was so lovely, the designer deserved to be paid.

The pattern is on Ravelry. Search for Bermuda Scarf. It looks more like a shawl to me but the designer calls it a scarf. There is a charge for the pattern, but I felt it was worth it.

Sorry I don't know how to copy a link from this device. I love this I pad, but there are days I miss my laptop (May it rest in peace).
