Here's a little baby blanket I whipped up over the weekend. One of my client's just had here first great grandson. She can no longer knit or crochet because of severe tendinitis. I wanted to make this, so she could give a handmade gift when she goes to visit.

I made this design once before in pink. It is always a crowd pleaser and is quick to crochet.

The pattern is by Leisure Arts and is called cuddlesoft. It uses and backpost stitches. I like this design because it works up quick and you can use any soft yarn.

Yes it is. I am always drawn to this blanket. Haven't made any of the other ones in the book. I have used all different types of yarn with this. The pattern always works out perfect.

I gave the blanket to my client this morning. She was thrilled. She had a little blue bear that she is going to put with it. Good timing since she is going this weekend to visit her new great grandson.
