I just unearthed my brother KH-601 and the KL-113 knit leader. Unfortunately, I remember why I packed everything away to begin with. In a moment of extreme confidence I thought I could take it all apart and refurbish. I did a good job in replacing some parts but it all fell apart when I took off the brushes because they just fell apart. Now what? Is this destined for the landfill or can I still get replacement brushes or can I pass on parts?
Thanks for any input you might have.

thank you. left a message with them. keeping fingers crossed. of course, the other question is: would i knit on a machine again? i think all i ever did was two pieces.
Even if you never knit on it again someone else would and really appreciate being able to do so.
