It is Joann Sensations Enchantment Metallic Black. I thought I had another skein, but dang it, I don't after all. Would love to buy 2 skeins or 3. Need it to finish a project already begun. Trouble is, it has been discontinued. Do you have this in your stash or know where it can be bought retail? If so, please PM me. Thanks.

Have you looked on Ravelry to see if anyone has some in their stash that they would be willing to sell. Just a thought.

Found only 3 skeins on Ravelry. It was marked "not for sale". But thanks for the idea. I'm just hoping that one of the generous members of KP might have it and share. I tried all the e-searches I know of also.

The 'not for sale' on Ravelry is the default setting. It can't hurt to send a message to that person anyway. At worst, you won't even get an answer back, but if you don't ask, you'll never know.

Try Jessica-Jean's suggestion because I did this and the person very kindly sold me what I needed. I did not know that was the default (learn something here everyday) but when I asked I figured they could always say no, but luckily they didn't.

I will go look I may have a few skeins in my stash I am going to have to pack up my yarns because I may be moving soon. Are there dye lots involved? Just want to see if I have the same lot #'s will let you know.

Just finished checking and the one I have doesn't have a label I am thinking it is a vanna slection and I have a bronze in the same style sorry I couldn't help you.

If the skein is very small, it is a Vanna yarn.. Size is a #2 -fine. What I am looking for, the Enchantment, is a #4 yarn, worsted weight and comes on a big skein. But thanks ever so much for looking.. bless you.

Tried e-bay, Amazon, and all the e-sources I could find. Took up my whole day yesterday. But one lady has come through for me and might be able to purchase 2 or 3 skeins for me and mail them. Not sure yet.

I also have high hopes one Raveler will sell me hers. Fingers crossed on that, too.

I ran into a similar situation not long ago...called the main Joanns office and they were able to located some stock in a store not far from me still in inventory...they told me the stores in my state that had one or two skeins still in their inventory...I just gave her the skew # off the yarn label...Good Luck

That's a good idea. I went to our local JoAnn's today to try to get it and they don't have it, but one employee did a search of all the JoAnn's (she said) on a hand-held device and also on the computer but found none. (sigh) I'll keep trying, though.
