We have Canada Geese in our backyard all the time--we've had in excess of 50 at a time!! They provide a lot of entertainment, as do the deer and bears we see as well.
That is so neat. I love wildlife. We live near a town but we have a few open fields still. It was fun to see the geese today.

Ours are very aggressive and very messy. Get that black poop on your shoes or clothes and it’s hard to get rid of and they are prolific poopers. Cheeky devils chase us off our own property! I thought swans were very aggressive, but Canada geese are more so. They charge at you in groups.
We have some big lakes and we live near a river. They don’t usually occupy this field. Guess they were resting. I was surprised to see them. Yes they are poopers and we won’t be cutting through there next walk. These were not aggressive in fact they watched us and some were ready to take flight.
