Has anyone tried sewing or incorporating capacitance thread into their project?
I am knitting gloves and would like them to be compatible with using a digital touch screen (cell phone, ipad, etc.).
If so, where did you purchase the thread and did it work? Thank you in advance!

Yes, I sewed some into the finger tips of gloves I made a niece. I sewed it on just as though I was darning. It worked. She was - and still is - happy with it but the gloves are getting old. I got the thread in the notions section of a quilting store.
I recently saw a pair of mittens here that had a slot knitted into the fingertip end of the mittens so you could stick your finger out the hold and then tuck it back into the mitten.

Clever idea. Vertical opening or horizontal?
horizontal finger opening.
you knit it like a button hole; b/o on one row; c/o the next row
