I had a cat once about 35 years ago who was a guard dog on our property. Any dog that unluckily happened to be walking past my house would be promptly sent on its way with a couple of smacks from my Little Bit. She loved sitting on the front porch waiting for them, then would dash down and start smacking them, She was something else.

oh, and now that I remember...I have to add that she also saved the chihuahua I had at that time from being attacked by a larger dog...she just came out of nowhere and charged right into that big dog and started doing her thing smacking the living daylights out of it..sent him scampering away but quick. Her name was actually "Little Bit--" but later I just called her Little Bit. She was a white persian. Great cat!! Lived to be 22. I had to put her down tho because she kept going to sleep in the middle of the street. Tried to keep her in but the kids often left the door open and so she constantly got out.

My mom sent that to me. I can't believe how bad the boy was hurt, he wasn't doing anything to antagonize the dog. So glad the cat was there to chase him off!!
Absolutely horrendous!!! I just don't understand why that dog did that??? That is not normal behavior, is it? That boy did nothing to that dog??

Of course! I've become so accustomed to cell phones it's hard to remember sometimes how it was without them, lol!

Stupid sounds like he was a hoot!

he was, he'd go swimming with us, and pitch a fit if Mom tried to keep him inside, then would play in the bath/shower after. He was just as fiercely protective of us as the cat in the video was of his small human... no dog ever tried to growl at us nevermind bite. Stupid would whallop the bejeebers out of them
