That's a beautiful scarf. I have it bookmarked (somewhere!) to try after I get more comfortable with my machines. Was it very difficult?

Sue, Thank you for the compliment. It probably wouldn't be for a beginner, because you have to repeatedly switch from pattern knitting to stockinet stitch, to individually short row knit those "fingers" as well as remembering to make all the necessary changes on the carriage.

I don't know your ability level, but if you've already done short rows, and pattern knitting, go for it.
