Got a deal on Peaches and Cream yarn, $1 a ball @ Walmart. I made these for a baby gift basket to raffle for Gabriel's Angels. It is a group that provides pet therapy for abused, neglected or at-risk children up to the age of 18. I had a howling contest with a bloodhound named Beauregard (he won, but the handler said "ok, that's enough...to me. :-D

That is so nice of you to do these beautiful blankets. The first one, crochet is sooooo much work! You had to change colour almost every row... Wow. :thumbup:

Yes, the granny square I had to change color every row. I have learned years ago to work in the ends as I go on these, and attach the new yarn at a different corner each time. Looks neater that way and I HATE weaving in ends.
