About the only thing I knitted recently was a baby sweater for a newborn great-niece and I was in such a hurry to get it to her mother, I didn't get any pictures of it. But trust me, it was really cute!! ;-) LOL!

I did find this picture though. A baby blanket I made for a friend last fall. Most every thing else I've done recently has been sewing projects. Since I can't post those on here, I guess this one will have to do for my "projects"!!

But just so you know -- I made three vintage pillow case dresses, a princess dress for Halloween last year, plus a Hersey's Kiss costume (that was so-o-o cute!) and I'm making three Easter dresses now! Oh, and I do have a NY scarf and hat for my grandson on my needles. I've had to put those to the side for the time being. So see, I haven't been entirely idle!!! LOL

Hi Myra! Thanks for showing us Charlie's blanket. It's so cute!
Did you use a pattern or make up your own design? Can you share please what the pattern name is and where you found it? It's such a unique design and I love things that aren't the ordinary design. This looks very fun to try. Thanks.

SEA: I'm just the opposite! Have never quilted - although I really want to do some one of these days. I've sewn forever. Made my own clothes and my daughters, too, most of the time. I even tried a few western shirts for my husband and boys, but never did really master it. They aren't as much fun!! Myra

Carol: I'm more than happy to share the pattern! It's a Caron pattern, but I couldn't find it on their website anymore. I just googled "accra tri-colored baby blanket" and it popped up. It's in pdf form. I can e-mail it to you if you'd rather, or if you have trouble finding it on the Internet. You'll notice that I made a change. Instead of cross-stitching the stars, etc. I crocheted hearts and sewed them on instead. Best, Myra

Hi Kay: I didn't get to post a picture of the sweater because I was in such a hurry to get it to her mother, I forgot to take one!! I find I do that a lot!!
The pattern is a bought pattern so I can't share it on here, but I have posted a picture of it. You can find the pattern at http://www.e-patternscentral.com in their knitting section under "Buttercup Baby Set" and it's $4.29. It was a lot of fun to make. I'd never made picots like this before and it was neat to do them! Have fun! Myra
