Chiaogoo Interchangeables - Reds and Bamboo

The site says they are coming out "Fall of 2012" with bamboo interchangeables and lace-tip interchangeables (reds) too. There's a PDF on the site showing what will be available, including a shorty 8inch cord (woohoo!).

Have any of you seen these in person yet?? How are the joins?

I have the ChiaoGoo Red Lace circulars and find the quality top notch in every way. I have no reason to believe the interchangeables would be inferior.

I absolutely love the red fixed circulars, and was just getting ready to order a few more....when I was lured-in by the idea of the interchangeable set.

I pre-ordered a set of the Red Lace Twist. I love the fixed needles, the quality is top notch, cables are very flexible and joins a very smooth. I read that on the smaller needles in the set, the joins are also smaller. I'm sure the quality of these new interchangeables will be as good as they others have always been.

I am anxiously awaiting them to be available for purchase. I know they will be top quality. Not sure WHEN they will be available though. Last week on Etsy there were over 50 sellers accepting pre-orders for expected delivery two weeks from now. I looked on Etsy yesterday and NOT ONE seller has them available for preorder. Makes me think that they will not be coming as soon as expected.

Just as long as they come out in time to be my Christmas/Anniversary/Birthday gift, I'm good.

I'm holding off on buying new needles while I wait for these. I'm kind of hooked.

I ordered mine from Grandmas Handknitting. Her last email said she was expecting them about the middle of the month. One of the dealers on Ravelry said they had just been told between Sept 1-30!

Oh cool, thanks for the links! I can't wait to see what people think of them when they come out. Now I'm glad I didn't get the set of Hiya Hiya Sharps so I can (probably) get the Chiaogoo Red full set instead.
