i recieved a gift bag from ac moore last month. it contained red heart yarn. i do not make afghans and need a very easy pattern for a three years old girl. anyone have any ideas? it can be knit or crochet patterns. help me hah hah

Here is the most basic pattern I know, I've used it for things as small as dishcloths, up through adult sized afghans.

I'm making each of my 6 yr old GD a crayola colors rainbow afghan at their request. I had them pick out colors with me-red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple-
I'm using the Feather and Fan pattern which is easy and gives it a nice zig zag stripe look. This pattern only involves knitting 2 tog. and YO's. Try it.

Knit Baby Blanket

Size 10 needles
14 - 15 ozs of yarn

Knit 10 rows garter stitch
Pattern:
Row 1 - Knit 5, *k1, yo, k2 tog, repeat from * across ending with knit 5.
Row 2 - Same as row 1
Row 3 - Knit
Row 4 - Knit 5, Purl across, knit last 5 stiches
Continue the last 4 rows for pattern.
When you reach desired length end with 10 row of garter stitch.
