I am in need of a pattern for a christmas dress. My 7 year old GD has requested a crocheted christmas dress. All the patterns I've seen are for toddlers or babies. I'm not wanting one of those as it would be a lot of figuring out size changes.

She wears a size 8-10. Depending on how the items are made. Maybe someone has a christmasy sweater pattern for a child that I could use and then lenghten it.

My GD's are gonna keep me busy with their christmas wishes that are crocheted, as well as dresses. My 6 yr old GD wants a sewn christmas dress.........lol. Have to be different. Any help would be greatly apprectiated.

There is skirt patterns also. Some with a vest.

Thank you. I had not thought of Ravelry. Guess too late at night n too tired to even think...........lol. Hate days like that, and they seem to be happening even more frequently. Getting too old I guess.......lol.

Love your line about living cells. That says it better than anything i've ever read. About Christmas dresses, check out Peter Smith trading.com ruffled dress. It's made with scarf yarn for the skirt. i'm going to try it for my GD. The instructions are a little spotty, i think but think i can figure it out. Good luck.
