Circular Needle Knitting

Hi: I am a new member from Australia; just joined two days ago. At the beginning of June, I have to teach a class in beginning circular needle knitting. Have been hunting online for some easy beginner patterns to get the ladies started; but not much luck. Does anyone know of some easy beginner patterns? Prefer free, but am willing to pay if not too expensive (I am a pensioner). Thanks alpajem
