Hi Everyone, I live in South Africa and am lookking for a knitting or crochet pattern to cover wooden coat hangers. I have previously searched the internet but cannot find one. Please could someone assist me. The reason I need a pattern is that I am in the process of teacing my domestic worker to knit and thought this might be a way for her to earn extra income if she could sell these covered hangers to her community, friends and family. She can also make them as gifts. Please help Thanks Cheryl

I have a hard back book called " The Knitter's Year " by Debbie Bliss & there is a pattern for a knitted coat hanger in there. The book is also full of lots of simple small projects that might also be of interest. I'm not sure if you have access to Amazon, or it's equivalent. If you have, you might be able to get a used, or almost new copy, very cheaply.

However, if you don't have access to that, send me a PM & I'd be happy to scan my pattern & email it to you. I have a lot of relatives in South Africa & a number who now life permanently in the UK.
