I wouldn't. I would crochet the crochet pattern if I liked it. You could try and find a knitting pattern similar to the crochet pattern that you like. If there is an easy, magic formula for converting crochet to knitting, it has yet to be disvovered.

How would you take a crochet pattern to a knit pattern sample (dc)

I plan to try crocheting a top-down sweater along the idea of the same in knitting. I think it would work if I did sc stitches for the yoke, increasing on each side of the 4 markers you typically use for marking the sleeves. Once it is wide enough to fit, I'd change stitches to a double crochet to grow the length faster. Depending on how many stitches per row/round, the stitches could be decorative in a nice pattern. It works in my head; how about in reality?
