This is made of three strands of yarn using a large size U crochet needles. A little awkward to start but goes fast. It is made in a tube ....which has stretch ability. Anxious to try other colors.

Just chain stitch and single crochets. The pattern is Caron's and can be found by searching Hour and a Half cowl on line.
