I went so far as buying a book on it as I fancied giving it a try but I just haven't had the time.
I have the book Interlocking Crochet by Tanis Galick - I got it from Amazon.

I've done it and found it surprisingly easy. It does produce a dense fabric when using worsted yarn.

Tanis Galik's videos are very clear, as are her patterns. Check her site for any errata.
