they look lovely on TV!!!!I would like to meet an alpaca too. I am glad she got her wish.
A wonderful story. For my Mum’s 80th Birthday she wanted a ride on a Harley motorcycle. My middle son was friends with a bloke who owned a Harley and Mum turned up to her picnic Birthday Party on the back of his motorbike. It was a huge surprise for all the guests to see how she arrived at the picnic. She loved it. Jen.Lovely story.
Years ago when I worked in a nursing home, our oldest resident had her 107th birthday. She had never married or been in a plane. She was treated to a flight to ? can't remember where, given champagne and taken for a drive in a limousine, first time for both of those as well. She enjoyed herself enormously and 10 days later died quietly in her sleep... It was written up by the local newspaper. I still have the article somewhere.. Never forgot her... Her name was Clare....
Blessings on her family for trying to make her wishes fulfilled!!!
Happy birthday!!! 🎂🎉🎈Very nice. My wish at that (or any age) would be just to wake up healthy. I just celebrated less than 106 and am so very happy to be alive. Now off to pet my two "alpacas" disguised as rescue dogs. Thanks for the uplifting post. jberg
I hear Alpacas are good guard animals to keep chooks safe from foxes, as are Maremma dogs. 😊I watch Yorkshire Vet on TV and often see alpacas. For a fee one may talk one for a walk, on a lead like a large placid dog! (heaven)
