Somewhere I saw a very simple plum recipe. The plums were cut in half and in a frying pan with a couple of other ingredients. Just can't find it and I was given some plums today. The recipe looked so quick and easy, which is the only kind I can do any more. Was it on this site?

No. It was easier than this. I may have seen it in a magazine. It seems to me you just pitted the plums, added sugar, and maybe a little water and vanilla, and cooked in a skillet on top of the stove.
I would include BUTTER..............everything is better with butter! :sm09:

Does anyone know if there is a copyright on recipes? I have a feeling there isn't. Anyway, I have lost the darned thing again. It was very simple. From what I can remember you poached the prune plumes on the top of the stove with some sugar and I think a little lemon juice and a cinnamon stick. It was basically what you put in a pie.
I can't remember how much sugar because I always cut down on sugar and put in what I think will sweeten just enough. If I find it will let you know.
Have a lot on mind just now as am having some minor surgery on Wednesday, and trying to get things organized around here.
