In lieu of the skull beanie, I decided to make a "greek key" pattern on the hat. I did this pattern in a vest many years ago & found the hand made pattern I had done then. I'm now trying other patterns as well. Will keep you posted.

I know skull caps are popular now, but I always thought they were sort of morbid and creepy. I like your pattern MUCH better. Great idea, thanks for sharing.

I took a dozen hats to the infusion center this afternoon, this one included. They were down to their last hat, so needless to say, they were thrilled to get them. I'm almost done with my next one and now can hardly wait to start the next one too. Both totally different designs. I'll keep you posted.
