Just saw an advertisement for Susan Bates interchangeable needle tips, blunt, sharp and regular. I don't know much more than that at the moment but had to post this...

It looks like they are just for straight needles; would you get these? It would be great if they could be used on circular needles - I'd get the sharps for lace.

That is just one of many threads here on forum.

I have a set that a dear friend sent me, and I love them. I use them for small lace projects, but like you am so used to circs it took some getting used to.

Rumor is they will be coming out with circs after the first of year.

Actual name is Susan Bates "Tipping Points", distributed by Coats & Clark.

Thanks so much for the link. I just read all about them, I think I will probably wait for the circulars. But Amy Knits tried them and really liked them. They are on the Red heart site and on /amazon. for those who are interested, use Cindy's link and read through- there will be links to them
